How to use the Spot Clean function with the robot ?
When the robot is paused or in Standby Mode, press and hold the Spot Clean button for 3 seconds to start Spot Clean Mode. In this mode, it will clean a square-shaped area of 1.5×1.5 meters directly around the robot. When the spot cleaning is done, the robot will automatically return to its original location and power off.
Note: Activating Spot Clean Mode will end the current cleaning task of the robot.
What is LDS laser navigation?
LDS laser navigation technology measures the relative position of the boundary and the robot vacuum by emitting the invisible laser and receiving reflected light. Based on this, the robot’s position in the map is determined, and a complete cleaning map is built.
Why do the maps on the APP overlap and skew?
Hello, please find the corresponding map in the APP map management, select delete/reset/restore the map, and re-create the correct map.
Why is the robot's work trajectory chaotic?
1. Please clean up the home cleaning environment properly before starting cleaning to improve the cleaning experience;
2. When the robot is cleaning, please avoid people or pets from repeatedly interfering with the cleaning track of the machine;
3. Please observe whether the robot is slipping;
4. When cleaning the machine for the first time, the machine is not cleaned according to the division of the family. The same area may be divided into 2 or even multiple cleans, which may appear to be a little messy, and the trajectory will be improved after the map is created;
5. Please observe whether the chaotic trajectory is on the legs of tables and chairs, narrow spaces, or thresholds. Robots in these areas will do some special actions to ensure the cleaning effect, which may cause the trajectory to be unsightly.
6. Please observe whether the map is abnormal, whether the map is skewed, or there is an area that does not exist in the family. If the map is abnormal, the robot will recognize the wrong map information and the track will be messy. It is recommended to try to reset the map or restore the map. test;
7. If you still can't solve the problem after the above investigation, please contact customer service and after-sales solution.
Why does the robot miss cleaning?
- Please upgrade the firmware to the latest version;
- Please confirm whether there are obstacles or high steps larger than 2cm at the door of the missed area
- Please confirm whether the robot has slipped during the cleaning process;
- Please confirm whether you are using global cleaning, not selected area cleaning;
- Please try to restart the robot;
- If the above investigation is invalid, please contact customer service to help you deal with it.
Why are robots not able to avoid obstacles?
- Please try to turn on the "3D Obstacle Avoidance" switch in the APP settings to improve the recognition accuracy;
- Due to the principle of infrared reflection, it is difficult to identify some black and dark table, chair legs or furniture in the family, and the obstacle avoidance may be poor;
- Wires with a thickness of less than 3mm are too small, and the robot may be mistakenly identified as obstacles for cleaning. Wires with a thickness of more than 3mm have a higher recognition probability. Therefore, it is recommended that you store some wiring harnesses on the home floor before cleaning by the robot. Start cleaning again;
- Some small toys or objects on the ground below 2.5x2.5cm will most likely be treated as obstacles to clean. Objects larger than this volume will be treated as obstacles to avoid. It is recommended that you clean them up properly before cleaning. Ground items, improve the cleaning experience;
- If there are other objects in your family that are not mentioned above and have poor obstacle avoidance, you can contact customer service to help you solve them.
How to solve the problem of unable to connect to Wi-Fi ?
- Please check if the home network is normal
- Please confirm whether the robot is in an area with strong Wi-Fi signal
- The robot can only connect to 2.4G frequency band Wi-Fi, and does not support 5G frequency band Wi-Fi;
- Please make sure to open the Internet access and location and other related permissions of the App before the mobile phone is configured. Failure to open the permissions will cause the network configuration to fail;
- If the network configuration still fails, please try to restart the robot and router, then try again.
How to reset the robot to factory setting?
Please open the machine cover, use the tool to press and hold the reset button (reset) until the voice prompt "start to restore factory settings", the robot will be restored to the factory state.
*Note: the cleaning data will be cleared and cleaning settings will be restored to factory settings after reset the robot. (Saved maps will be cleared and cannot be restored)
How to solve the problem of unable to connect to Wi-Fi ?
- Please confirm whether the water tank is installed in place and whether the hooks on both sides have been buckled;
- Please confirm whether the robot voice prompts "The water tank has been installed" and "The water tank has been removed" during the installation and removal of the water tank
- It will take a certain time for the water tank to completely soak the rag. Before mopping the floor, please moisten the rag according to the instructions before using it;
- Do not add non-special cleaning or disinfectant when using it, which may cause damage to electronic components;
- The water tank in the mopping mode does not always output water, and the water tank has a built-in electric control water tank. Intermittent water output is not a water tank failure;
- Please try to check and clean the water outlet at the bottom of the water tank;
- Please use a small tool to check whether the vent hole of the water tank filler plug is ventilated;
- If there is no water coming out for a long time, please contact customer service for replacement or repair.
How to solve the problem of fast power decline?
- Please check whether a strong gear is set for cleaning. Strong gear will reduce the robot's battery life.
- Please try to fully charge the robot on the charging stand and observe the power drop.
- Please try to check the battery life corresponding to different gears in the manual to confirm whether the battery life meets the standard.
